David A. Harris

David A. Harris is Distinguished Faculty Scholar and Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh, where he teaches Constitutional Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, and Evidence.  He studies and writes about law enforcement behavior, including search and seizure, stop and frisk, and racial profiling.  He is the author of "Profiles in Injustice: Why Racial Profiling Cannot Work" (2002) and "Good Cops: The Case for Preventive Policing" (2005).
