Citing voting fraud, Republicans have attempted to pass restrictive voting laws in a number of states across the country. On Viewpoint with Eliot Spitzer, The Nation‘s Editor and Publisher Katrina vanden Heuvel explains that voting fraud is extremely rare, and that we ought to be more worried about greater democratic participation. "Seventy million people, eligible voters, are not voting," said vanden Heuvel. "We go around this world and preach democracy when in fact we need universal voter registration."
