Jon Stewart on Why He Hates Sarah Palin

It’s not the fact that she’s pretty or that she shoots things, says Stewart–“that’s actually my favorite part.”

Jon Stewart, reacting to the right’s explanations for why liberals don’t
like Sarah Palin, presents an argument that could definitely be the last
word on why the former Governor of Alaska needs to go
away
. It’s not the fact that she’s pretty or that she shoots things,
he says–“that’s actually my favorite part”–but the fact that when one
looks beyond
those quirks
, there is no “everything else” to find. “When you peel
back the pretty,
shooty layers
of the Palin onion, there’s no onion,” he points out,
referring to Palin’s recent interviews to showcase her clear lack of
expertise in anything beyond mere culture-war talking points. A
must-watch, and ideally one of the last moments of clarification that
non-Palin fans will need to make.
