As Americans hit the polls today, some will be told their vote might not be counted. Voting Rights Watch’s lead reporter Brentin Mock appeared on Democracy Now! to explain voter suppression efforts across the country, including one poll watcher's challenge of seventy-seven alleged felons in Tampa. Challenged voters won’t know their tentative status until they show up to their polling station and they receive a provisional ballot. “This is completely unfair,” says Mock.
