Lance Armstrong”s lead sponsor Nike has dropped him from their payroll, after the US Anti-Doping Agency confirmed the famous cyclist used steroids and passed them along to his teammates. But Nike’s move was a strategic one—diverting media attention from their alleged half-million-dollar cover-up of the same scandal.
