April 23, 2012

Two years after an explosion on BP’s Deepwater Horizon released 210 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, legislators are considering a bill that would protect oil companies from any liability for deadly accidents resulting from fuel production or transport. To discuss this bill and more, energy analyst and Nation contributor Antonia Juhasz appeared on Up w/ Chris Hayes this weekend with Sam Seder of Majority.FM and Former EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman.

For more, read Juhasz’s article, “Investigation: Two Years After the BP Spill, A Hidden Health Crisis Festers,” in this week’s issue of The Nation.
