The difference between rich and poor is stunting economic growth, the mayoral candidate says.
“The biggest problem that’s facing us right now and that is actually stunting our economic growth is the fact that we have a wealth gap that is out of control,” New York City Mayoral candidate John Liu said in a recent conversation with Nation correspondents, editors and staff.
