This celebration brings together many of the enduring themes from The Nation’s history for an eclectic evening of time travel through the magazine’s archives, and through the eyes of the speakers, a glimpse into the future. The evening features Katrina vanden Heuvel, Nation editor and publisher, Richard Kim, executive editor of The Nation; internationally acclaimed author and activist Naomi Klein; award-winning Nation sportswriter Dave Zirin; Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant in conversation with Seattle City Council member Nick Licata; Washington Senator Pramila Jayapal; and The Nation’s political correspondent John Nichols all collaborating on what will be an unprecedented live show of readings, reflections, music, and video.
