A few months ago, Zabadani was a peaceful resort town in Syria known for its fruit orchards. Now, in the midst of an apparent civil war, Zabadani is partly abandoned and under constant barrage by Syrian security forces. Nation correspondent Sharif Abdel Kouddous describes his time in the beseiged town to Amy Goodman on Democracy Now!.
