Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice David Prosser is currently being investigated for grabbing a liberal colleague and holding her in a chokehold during a heated argument over Governor Scott Walker’s infamous anti-union legislation. Under Wisconsin state law, it is a felony to touch a judge, making it quite possible that David Prosser (who has been accused of verbally assaulting other colleagues) will be forced to resign.
To explain the possible outcomes of this incident for Prosser and for the state’s politics, The Nation‘s John Nichols joined Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor on the Ed Show.
