He helped launch the grassroots network 350 Massachusetts and serves on the board of Better Future Project, a nonprofit in Cambridge, Mass., dedicated to building the climate movement. A former editor at The Atlantic, where he co-created and edited TheAtlantic.com, and at The Boston Globe, where he edited the Sunday "Ideas" section, he was most recently the senior producer of NPR's On Point.
