A dynamic public speaker and powerful advocate of racial justice in the media, Garza was named Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year in 2016 and serves as the special projects director for the National Domestic Workers Alliance, the nation’s leading voice for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States, where she seeks and succeeds in connecting emerging social movements around broad-based progressive issues.
