The purpose of The Nation’s Mayoral Forum is to give progressive voters an opportunity to hear some of the contenders share their vision for the future of New York City. We are asking each candidate to talk for 4 minutes about why their campaign deserves the support of the progressive community. Katrina vanden Heuvel and D.D. Guttenplan will then moderate a short group discussion before we invite our audience to participate in a real-time Q&A session.

Although we have made mayoral endorsements in the past, The Nation does not currently support any candidate in the Democratic field. That said, this forum may be the basis for The Nation forming an endorsement. The Forum is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
