Explore Ankara, Lake Van, Kars, Ephesus, and Istanbul on this in-depth look at modern and ancient Turkey.  Along the way we’ll meet with journalists, writers, economists, women’s rights activists, and more.  See spectacular sites such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Ephesus, and iconic covered markets bursting with color and fragrant spices. Also visit lesser known sites in eastern Turkey such as the dramatic fortress of Van Kalesi, the island of Akdamar, and the stunning Ishak Pasha Palace and Mosque.
